Avana is a family run, fully private, nature-immersed retreat venue in the Byron Bay hinterland, designed for facilitators who want to create an unforgettable experience.
With accommodation for up to 60 guests in beautifully styled shared bell tents & classic dome tents and exclusive access to the entire riverside property.
A minimum three-night stay ensures space for true immersion.

Glamping in the rainforest
The shaded rainforest holds our Glamping Bell Tents, dotted along the river with comfy beds and beautiful linen.
Indoor spaces and kitchen
The main house here provides opportunities for indoor activities and use of amenities. There is an upstairs and downstairs kitchen to prepare meals, privately or via a professional catering service. There is a medium-sized presentation room on the downstairs level.
Luxe Facilities
Designed and built by Avana’s creator Alex Southcombe, these outdoor bathrooms are a beautiful surprise for all the guests.

We have a flat grassed area by the riverside that are shaded by a large festival tents to hold your activities, presentations, rituals, talks.
Sauna & Cold Plunges
We have a beautiful wood fired sauna andtwo cold plunges by the river, so you can sweat, plunge and detox.
